Fooda was created by a group of logistics professionals who wanted to bring excitement and variety to their workplace. Today, Fooda provides a range of services to meet the needs of employers of all sizes across the country. On average, Fooda serves upwards of ten million meals per year through our varied services.

Our Greatest Milestones

2010

The idea is born

A group of brokers at a major logistics company in Chicago had a lunch problem. Time was money, and they couldn’t afford to venture out to the nearest restaurant for lunch. It was a 30-minute roundtrip, so they started asking restaurants to come to them. And it worked.

2011

Fooda is created

Popup solves Food service for corporations without a cafeteria.

2012

Fooda hits 100 clients

Fooda is live in Chicago with 100 clients and 100+ restaurant partners.

2014

Expansion to NYC

Fooda expands beyond Chicago to open their first new market, New York City.

2016

Expansion to 5 cities

Fooda expands its footprint to 5 major US cites, and opens the first Fooda run cafeteria.

2018

Introducing Rewards

Fooda launches our Rewards program, giving loyalty benefits to our consumers through the Fooda App.

2019

Available in 20+ cities

Fooda continues to expand, now serving workplaces around the country in 20+ cities.

2020

Expands to new verticals

Fooda looks beyond their traditional clientele of office workers to include Hospitals, Higher Education, and Distribution Centers.

2022

Adds Pantry to our services

Fooda is always looking to create the best mix of food options in the workplace, so we created Fooda Pantry to better serve our clients.

2024

Adds new technology

Fooda builds their own technology and added several new advances, including integrated cafeteria solutions like scan to pay, which allows consumers to scan bar codes and pay on their phone.
