What is your most popular dish?
Our Roasted Lamb Shank is our best-selling dish. The meat falls off the bone and melts in your mouth. Our customers love the cheesecake and baklava for dessert. A lot of travelers who pass through Smyrna see our sign and stop in. They’re always surprised at how delicious the food is.
What inspires the menu creations at Athens Greek Cuisine?
All of the dishes on our menu are inspired by my wife’s cooking.
Why do you think consumers voted you best Mediterranean Cuisine in Nashville?
Everybody loves our food because it’s authentic and fresh. Other restaurants cook their meat earlier in the day and reheat it before it’s served. We prepare everything made-to-order. We even bake our pita bread in-house, and our customers can taste the difference. I think people like that they get a large serving at a good value, too.
