We’re proud of our roster and each year we celebrate it with the Best of Fooda awards, asking you to choose your favorites. Detroit BBQ Company serves up mouthwatering rib tips, pulled pork, and brisket. Their recipe for success includes sourcing high-quality meats from Creekstone Farms and Niman Ranch as well as being choosy about the kind of wood they use (mostly a mix of local oak and hickory). Vegetarian-friendly mac and cheese, cornbread, and coleslaw help round out the Southern comfort meals they serve.

Best Mediterranean: La Kabob Grill

Known for their modern interpretations of classic Mediterranean dishes, La Kabob Grill has been serving shawarma, falafel, hummus, and baklava since 1998. Don’t worry about filling up on pita bread, it’ll be worth it: theirs is baked fresh daily in their brick oven.
